1992 Ranger 681C questions

Just got a 1992 Ranger 681C.  I can't find schematics of the boat anywhere.  The rod locker is only about 6'-8'' that runs into the front gas tank.

Question is, I was thinking about modifying it to fit a 7 foot pole and add rod tubes.  Does anyone have pictures of the front deck off on this boat?  I'm just wondering if it would even be possible to add another few inches to the rod locker without opening everything up. 

Love the boat, sits a little to close to the water in the back though so I may have to add splash guards
