Got a 1996 Blazer 202 Pro V with a Johnson 225hp. Got it for 6k. Anyone got an idea of the top resale value on it?

Hard to tell from the photo but looks like you got a great looking ride.

According to NADA looks like suggested retail is about 8,800 so I'd say you done good!

I'd say you did good can't tell from the pic what shape the boat really is in but I just gave 5 for a 94 gambler that wasn't pampered in any way, with things that needed fixed/ upgraded to be fishible. If this is your fish boat take time with it and be safe as that is a lot of rig to handle for a first timer.

Pretty much everything is in great condition besides minor seat cracks, but the hull is flawless.  Ya I am definatley going to have to learn the boat better because it is FAST. Havent had the chance to take it out alone because I had to get the carbs cleaned since it sat for a while before I bought it but once it gets out im going to work my way up slow.  The only thing im a bit sketched out on is it doesnt have hydraulic steering is that something I really need to upgrade ASAP? My friends who have bass boats say it is.

Yes you want hydraulic steering. I'm very surprised that it doesn't have it. At higher speeds you'll need Popeyes forearms to steer it. Also at high speed that boat will chine walk on you and hydraulic steering will help you control it.
