Bank fishing

Hey Guys, I am going to try to do either some wade fishing or some bank fishing this weekend.  Anyone with any ideas about some good areas to fish this way in Lake County.  I have been fishing the lakes around our community but the bite has been really slow, so I thought that I would give some other areas a look.  I would appreciate any advise about where a non boater could find some action.  If anyone has any good advise, please post it.
