what power is this rod

while i was at academy the other day i looked at one of the older h20 express precips it is a 6' 10'' pitchin stick the line weight is 12-25 and the lure weight is 1/4 to 3/4 it dosent say on the rod what power it is i figure it would be at least med/heavy but im not sure any guy that knows any thing about these rods falcon rods has tessera that has the same specs and it shows up as a heavy

I would say it's safe to assume it's a MH/H. Just remember that not all rods in the same power and action perform the same. With the lure rating I would lean more to the MH side.

Line class puts it MH, lure weight puts it as a Moderate / Fast tip to fast tip.

I have seen MH bass rods up to the 30lb class, after that they are usually heavy or better. Lure weight usually has to do with the tip, dunno why, just the way they classify things, I guess.

Then again I have seen medium strength rods in 100lb class so that isn't cast in stone.

The line weight is actually more than their Ethos line in a Heavy. The lure weight is the same as the Ethos MH. If it is the Pitchin stick, I would assume that was their version of Heavy.

I would think it to be a Heavy power rod based on line rating and lure weight capabilities, action could be anything but should be fairly easy to determine by the amount of flex in the rod.
