Well i have been having excellent luck with the crappie all have been up shallow biting everthing. I went out two Weekends ago and caught a 6lb. largemouth and my best friend threw in behind me a caught a 4lb. male right behind her. they were both on a bed. The water temp. was in the 71 to 73 range. All day was good on the carolina rig.

Thanks for the update, what size are the crappie running. Were most of your bass pretty shallow?

Sir Strike alot.. Are the crapie still moving up there?   My dad and I used to go down there and crapie fish at a dock along time ago when I was a kid caught my biggest crappie ever there it was a 2 pound + crapie.

Any suggestions on where to go to do some bank fishing or a dock we could check out?   My dads old boat just aint fishable anymore and I am to poor to buy one.   Anyway if there biting and there is a place you think we could catch some I may take my pops with me adn go and do some crapie fishing as he loves to catch them..

Right now the crappie on the south end of the lake are on their way back to bridges and deep water haunts for the summer but the north and east end are still good in about 6 to 8 feet of water i think just about anywere around the texanna rd area there are a couple of fishing docks or try some rocky banks up around the dam area. last weekend we were caughting mostly male up shallow the females were around the bridges feeding in the current areas. hope this help ya need more info write me.
