If anyone is ever in the Bridgton or Boothbay area of Maine, you must check out Adams Pond. It is an exceptionally clean body of water that I had originally believed was a reservoir. I caught a bass on almost every single cast and the bass I did manage to catch were all of good size. In the hour I was there I must have seen 25 jumpers and some were huge! The water was so clear I could see all the fish. And right when I arrived I saw a MONSTER swimming about six inches from shore! The terrain is mostly rocky unlike my home lake; which is weedy and mucky. The rocky terrain allowed me to throw every lure I owned in the water and get results. And if you like fishing for smallmouth, you won't be able to find a better place in Maine than Adams Pond.
Born and raised in the murky waters of Lake Quinsigamond.
