OK folks, I've arrived here in beautiful Sierra Vista and have found what I believe will be my home lake for the next few years... Parker Canyon Lake is a small ten hp max lake, but looks like it has potential!   I hope to get back here and post some pics of actual fish, until then I only have a view pic.

Eric,

You stationed at Ft. Huachuca?  I was stationed there 1975 - 1977 I spent a little bit of time fishing Parker Canyon Lake.  Back then the only thing stocked in it were Rainbow Trout.  I did find a small pond up in the Huachuca Mountains that had some Largemouth Bass stocked in it.
There's another lake called Patagonia Lake its 54 miles West on AZ 82 West.  Its got some largemouth bass in it.  Here's some information about the park etc.

I didn't really get into fishing that much due to mostly Rainbow trout being the main fish in the area.
I was into hunting and there's plenty of that there: wild pigs (Javelina), mule deer, white tail, dove, quail.

Good luck and enjoy your stay there.
