I fell on this NOAA site a little while ago, and every time I look through it, I find more useful information to use when getting ready for fishing, or reviewing what happened when I come back.

In side the site there is a section that I found very informative, it charts out water movement, winds, temperature, and salinity.  Interestingly enough, the chart for my area goes much deeper inland than any of the other charts I have seen.  You might find it interesting for your area also.

On 8/3/15 I changed the name of this thread because it contains more than just tide sites, making it easier to know what is in this thread.

If you plan on being in the water on Texas beaches, you might want to check out this site, it monitors and reports the amount of Flesh Eating Bacteria in the water at a given time.

If you are going to the Texas or Florida coast, you may want to check this site out on the Red Tide conditions where you are going.
