Our Sept. 12 event was originally scheduled for the Red River, with the high water levels and possibly dangerous navigation, this event has been changed to a SCRAMBLE. This event will also be an OPEN, meaning new members that show up will not have to pay membership at registration...but if they place in the money, membership ($30/person) will be deducted from their winnings. Here's a good opportunity to get some new potential members for next year, so please tell all your friends that fish. Everyone will meet at Teague Boat Ramp, pay their fees and have livewells checked, then proceed to one of the lakes that we have had on our 2015 schedule (Cross/BB Hosston/Caddo/Bistineau/Grand Bayou/Toledo Bend/or the Red River). All teams must declare at registration which lake they will be fishing, you cannot fish multiple lakes, so that the proper slot limit will be used at weigh-in. Following weigh-in we will be having our annual BBQ and a short rules meeting, at the Teague Boat Ramp Pavilion. The following members need this tournament (to have their 6 in) to qualify for our Classic this year:

Alex Deschler
Brandon Winstead
Brent McDonald
Brett Draper
Chad Gowel
Chand Young
Chris Dull
Cody Dollar
Cole Cummings
Dante Bates
David Norcross
Dennis Mitchell
Ernie Smoak
Gary Allen
Jeremy Dodson
Johnny Costello
Kevin Lettau
Matt Clark
Nick Roberts
Randy Garsee
Richie Kilpatrick
Roy Phelps
Scott Murphy
Seth Falgout
Shawn McMillan
Todd Branton
Ty Humphries
Walt Adams

If you see a discrepancy, please let me know and I will check it with the tournament weigh-in sheets. If you would like to know how many tournaments you have in, please check the thread entitled "2015 Members List"

What time will check in start that morning at Teague?
Is weigh-in still at 3 pm? Will it be under the pavilion?

I will begin registration at 5:30am, with a first cast at 6:30am.  Weigh-in will be at 3:00pm, under the Teague pavilion.  So...the closer you stay, the longer you have to fish.  Drive farther, and have a shorter time to fish...everyone must make the decision and declare the lake you are fishing at registration. Hope to have a good turnout for this one, expose some new folks to our trail.

The lake that you are going to fish will be OFF-LIMITS on Monday (9/7) at dark...since Monday is a holiday, I wanted to give those that had it off an extra day to prefish.

We had our annual BBQ and rules meeting following weigh-in, only rule change: No more Off-Limits period before tourneys. We also voted on eliminating the following lakes (reason) for the Classic selection: Red River (BassChamps with 300+ boats that same weekend); Bistineau (Draw down, too dangerous to run); Grand Bayou (Draw down, too dangerous to run)
