Save your pennies. I'll have an 06 BassCat Puma with less than 100 hrs on the boat and motor available next spring. Fully loaded and looking showroom new with no marks on hull or interior. It should be $20-22k depending on updates.

Good grief Wizard, I've got an 06 Puma with 200 hours on a 225 Merc Pro XS and would hate to think it's worth less than $20k. Lowrance HDS10 and 7. You'd be hard pressed to get it from me for much less than $22k.

I picked up a 2004 BassCat Sabre (18') a few years ago for under $15K. Was in great shape. Had new batteries, and had been serviced.

Just got to shop around... For the right price, I might be willing to let the Sabre go, I've been wanting to upgrade to a Patera II.

Test drive everything you're considering.  Have tech go over it, to include a compression check, before you pull the trigger.

Where are you?  I know of a couple places on the east coast (TN, VA) that have a slid selection of used rides.
