Lake O'Dowd

I'm looking to take my canoe over to Lake O'Dowd later this week and was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction I should go.  It looks like a pretty big lake and with just me paddling I don't think I'll be touring the whole lake.  I know there are only a few parking spots so I'll be getting there plenty early....any recommendations on where to hit and what's working?

Farthest southern back bay, that's where the giants live, caught my 7lb 4ozer there. Frogging, punching, buzzbait in early morning and boat docks. Get there crazy early, she fills up fast!

I'd try right in the bay the launch is in.  Good luck though I think it's going to be windy!

Usually that lake doesn't produce in high wind situations, just never has for me, gl.

How'd it go? Unusually for me, I haven't been there all year.

didn't end up going.  Woke up and the wind was a little too much for me to want to deal with....hopefully this weekend!
