I know some of you guys have installed it and played with it. Laurie's is telling her that her turn is ready.

So...

I know some folks have had their choice in anti virus removed during up grade. We run Kaspersky (I don't want to battle the ethics of it), will windows 10 fight Kaspersky?

There were issues in the beginning with emoticons/smilies, has that been straightened out?

How many updates are you dealing with? Is it constantly updating with fixes?

Are there any particular problems with UB? We don't visit many sites (just don't have time) and obviously we don't want to have to deal with work arounds with the site we live on.

Any site builders or managers out there? Are you having any issues with backend control panels our file transfer programs?

Just a few of the many questions before we pull the trigger

I have known people who have had issues with 10 fighting Kaspersky. Kaspersky wanted to stop some of the functions. I'm not really well versed with the 5Ws. Mcaffee and Symantec work really well but Microsoft owns those brands so I would expect them to.

I could not get their "Defender" anti virus program  and re-install AVG.
The 10 upgrade deleted my AVG program and when I went back to 8.1 , I had to reload AVG again
I'm still battling the 10 program as it keeps wanting to re install .

I did the upgrade last week.  Took about 30 minutes.  I had asked my computer guy about my anti-virus, BitDefender, and he said he knew of no issues.  But the upgrade disabled it and put Windows Defender into effect.  I reloaded BitDefender and it all works fine now.

I have seen no issues with UB since I upgraded.  Haven't had any issues with much of anything, once I got my BitDefender back up and running.

I haven't played much with all the features but what I have done seems easy.

I've been using 10 for a couple of weeks now and I love it.   I'm just using Windows Defender for AV and having no problems at all.  Previously I used either AVG or AVAST.  Got a little tired of the popups.

Microsoft does not own McAfee.   ;)  Intel does.

I have been using it since it was released to the minions.  Only problem was with the touch pad driver on the old Toshiba laptop.  I reinstalled and all is well.

I was using Microsoft's antivirus before the upgrade and kept defender, haven't had a problem.

Only thing I have run into is that it gets updates quite often, but I was expecting that from a new OS.

On my gaming machine, I use Geforce and it is refusing to update because 10 doesn't use Net Framework. It doesn't seem to have affected the video or audio on the machine, so not too worried about it right now.

My wife had no problems transitioning from 7 to Lenovo's flavor of 8.? to 10, so that is saying something, she is a high tech red neck, but handles it like her car, put in gas, turn the key and go.  Anything else and life isn't sweet anymore.
