Was a much tougher day on Mille Lacs 11-1-15.
2 of us only caught 6 fish. I caught 5 and my buddy caught 1.
I caught another 6lber. 6lbs 1oz and 20.5" to be exact.

The 6lbs 1oz a 5lbs 9oz a couple 4.5lbers and a 3lb 9oz.

It was a grind, fishing was very tough. If you didn't find a school you didn't get bit.
Days like yesterday only make you better.
Just need to keep a bait in the water.
Managed to stay focused and rally late in the day to put 3 fish in the boat in 15 minutes, had to leave to get home. Feel like we left fish that would bite. Wish I would have made the decision to make a 6 mile run sooner.
Had a voice in my head telling me to fish an area all day. Never listened to it. Sucks because after looking at the map and choosing a starting point then after graphing the spot. I immediately put a 4.5lb fish in the boat. Hung my jig up on the next cast and broke off. Rerigged and got bit again another 4.5lber. A few cast later I caught the 5lb 9oz.
Then it was time to leave. Just tells me my instincts were correct, should have made the decision earlier in the day.
