I built me a boat port this week. $200 off Amazon and it is 27' x 10'

Anchored it down and made me a little parking stop as well so I know where the perfect parking spot is.

It turned out great and covers it perfectly.

Nice setup there now.  The parking stop makes it real easy to get it all covered I'm sure.  I probably couldn't use those tie downs her in Rock City, Westminster, MD.

They are 30" or so. It came with tiny ones. Under thise rocks is southern hard black dirt lol It was a pain to get them in but they are super strong and steel.

Nice cover West.  Good idea on using the hurricane anchors AND tying them together with screws.  Hope it lasts for a long time.  Have you looked into the cost of replacing the tarp?  Just interested, that's all.

I think its $40 or 50 if I remember correctly.

I wanted a metal one but they are 1500 right now. I plan on building a lean style tin roof one in the next few years. This one is just to get is through a few years. For $200 it was a good buy.

From the pictures it looks like it is well made, and I'm sure you can use it for quite a while until you get your ducks in a row for a more permanent boat home.
