Eagle Lake 08/14/2016

Took my new Kayak out on its maiden voyage yesterday. Eagle lake is a small lake about 20 minutes from my house. I had a blast, but went 0/2 for the day.

Spoke with a few guys who fish it daily and they said last month Fish and Game released appox. 3k catfish and LM into the lake and released the info in the paper. I started at 0700 and was the only person there. By 1000, there were about 50 plus with 2-3 rods a piece bottom feeders.

I'd avoid Eagle Lake for awhile. Conditions were awesome. Never got above 85 the whole day.
