2017 Icast News
« on: June 29, 2017, 08:34:18 PM »

Starting this to keep up with the news, products, and general discussion for Icast.

So far we know the Curado K is coming (intrigued)

Very intrigued over the 13 fishing Concept z. I want to know what they used in place of ball bearings. They claim that there is zero ball bearings on it.

I am sure LMG or Rock will have some info. I really love this time of year.

So Rock,

What is the difference between this and the Chronarch MGL? Saltwater use? I was literally just reading about this. I mean the MGL got editors choice on TT.

From what I can gather, the finish has been changed to allow saltwater use and the spool is not an MGL spool. MGL to Shimano is SV to Daiwa. That spool is one bad mother.

Still interesting as 13 fishing has done a great job. Coming from nowhere to being a top five contender in the market shows how dedicated they are.

Yea I use their cranks (a few) and they seem legit. Made in Texas. I also like their fishing shorts. I bought them early when they were only like 20 bucks each and they were a steal.
