Cool day with protege

Had a fun day teaching my friends boy more about bass fishing. We caught 10 with the best five going about 10 lbs.

Oh I forgot to mention the highest temp we had all day was 55 degrees. i thought it might be terrible fishing but it shows to just get out there. we fished for 6 hours about an hour was just getting him out of trees. Its his first year fishing with a baitcaster. At one point I pointed out that he missed a tree. But while I was getting out of a bush he caught one of his fish.

I just looked you are 2 1/2 hrs away from me. Wish you were closer I could use a dedicated bass partner. I like the guy I fish with but he just isn't 100% about bass fishing. One minute he is bass fishing then I turn around and he has a bobber out hoping he gets a catfish or a crappie. Dives me nuts as I want to eas along picking structure apart.

Zip that is really good you are teaching him. So many haven't a father anymore and those that do have no clue how to enjoy nature.

that was me today with the wife. So slow but sometimes I pick apart the structure and catch them on a cast i probably would have not made.
