A very good combo for the price. I bought a few for my son when he was younger. Should work well for a lot of the fishing you will do up there in New Hampshire. And definitely go with at least a 2500 sized reel as Oldfart9999 said.

I've never had the full combo, I can tell you the trion spinning reel is great. It performs very well.
