That is a brand new Daiwa Zillion svtw that was bought shortly after ordering the rod. It has not been on a rod before today. Spooled it with 15#p-line flouroclear and ready to fish it next Friday. If there is no ice.

Well then it is obvious that you have to send it to LMG to have it Zipped up a bit.  Then you have to get with Rick D and get some Blue Braid.   LOL

Well worth it. Lee started back on it before he should have.    But I would have waited longer for a rod that nice.
I knew it would be a work of art, but the balance is incredible and it casts a country mile and I haven't had time to dial the reel in just right yet.
I know there will be more in my future and I haven't caught a fish on it yet.

Do you have a warm water discharge from a power plant nearby.  I used to fish on the Susqy just below Sunbury dam and that power plant.

I have one but its on the Allegheny River and I won't put the boat on the three rivers after October. Too much debris and the discharge is only accessible by boat.
I may still get out on black Friday with fishballer.
