looks like TVA is easing back on flows.  Only running 42K cfs today, down from 73K this past week.  Kudos to Alberto.

Water temps were 76°F.  Slight stain (foot and half to two feet visibility).  Did most damage on small sections of rip rap.

first fish of the day was 18 inches and hit a KVD splash in a backwater pool.
next fish was the photo fish.  black neon Strike King 3.5 TOOB.  a little over 21.5 on the rule.  getting there.  almost a DW Verts fish!

a few more smaller fish.  mixed bag of spots and LMB.  one SMB at 16 inches.

the 'other' fun tug o' the day went to this guy

so much slime on the line!   not a huge blue, but the photo does NOT do justice to it's belly and how hard it's been feeding.  too broad to grab around the head, too wide to get a good grip across the chest.

by now some of  you have figured out how much I love tossing the Rapala DT6 in river shad.  just works.  ;D

as for this blue, yes, I know they are great eating.  this one, however, was released for another day.

Thanks for the report and glad you caught some fish. It would be nice if I could see the pictures all that shows up is a big circle with a - in the middle of it.  :-\
