The switch markings are all hard to read after all these years so today I ordered some engraved plates that self stick to the dash to mark the switches.

I was thinking the same thing Rodney. She's going to be very sharp.

Looking forward to pics myself.

I just ordered yesterday and they have shipped today.  It was good to find a SC company to do this.  The plates are black with white engraving  and are 1/2" X 1"  I will take pictures when I put them on.  FYI each engraved plate was $2.50

Darn it.  Just realized I ordered the wrong size, I ordered 1/2" x 1" and now I realize they were also available 1/4" X 1"

I think the 1/4" might be the better size.  Oh well I will wait to get the 1/2" size to see for sure.  Have a hunch I will have to order the some 1/4" but thats ok.  I just want what looks best.

The new plates arrived today.  Each plate has a self stick 3m tape on the back so it is just a peel and stick deal.  I think the size will be ok but won't know until I can get to the boat.

Bud that might be big enough.

Bud, tks for sharing this.  What an idea.  I took a paint pen and did mine but they need redone again.

I'm going to look into getting a label marker and redo mine.

They look good Bud. I could do with something like that in my boat.

How thick are they?

Installed the engraved plates.  The size is good for old eyes.  Still need to order some more to finish the job but I think these are gonna be just fine.

Ordered some additional plates and they came in yesterday.  Anxious to get them put on the boat.  This has really worked out well and has been well worth the expense.  Each plate cost $2.50 so not really a bad expense at all.  Both orders I placed with this company were shipped in just a couple days and the quality is very very good.   If I was feeling really randy I would mark my plano boxes with labels similar to these.
