Looking at all the Hot Rodders entered it is going to be up to the Cool Caster to make a good catch to win it.

Yes, He was worried he couldn't help out much. Now he has an untapped fishing hole. I'm not scared though, Erie is usually on fire in October.

I was worried about getting on the water enough to help support our team but now I might be able to just sit back and watch football

I'll be on Kissimmee for 4 days starting tomorrow so hopefully I'll post some good numbers for Brandon and I.

Headed to a new spot this morning. Hopefully have some success. This will likely be the last fishing I get in for a few days, as I'm headed back to Illinois and Wisconsin for my brothers wedding. Maybe I can sneak my travel rod in for while the wife is getting ready lol

I wouldn't do that just yet. I'm thinking that one was a fluke. That might be my only fish of the month, although two days next week look pretty good.

Unfortunately I think this new spot is a classic case of "looks fishy, but isn't very fishy". That said, picked up 8 or 9 but nothing big. Biggest one shook the hook when I tried to lip him.

I stayed away from my hot spots looking for backup fish but yesterday was tough.

9 am- 25 mph NE wind and knee high rollers on the west and south banks

12 noon -flat calm and 94 degrees

3 pm - 20 mph east wind and rain squalls

I was around active fish all day but they did not start biting until 1. The bite should be earlier today.

swim/bike/run....repeat

It's not that I caught just 1 small fish it's that I shook off a few bigguns yesterday. I know where they live. Learned that from Scott Martin. Shake em off in practice.
