dobyns spinning rod crankbaits

 bought a mh rod of another brand for dropshots but thinking want a dobyns spinning for crankbaits and rattle traps. Fish alot of weeds/heavy cover.Any suggestions?

Weeds and heavy cover? Sounds like you need a baitcasting setup.

Your other thread didn't mention cover types but I'd still say the Sierra 704SF is the best way to go if you have to use a spinning rod.

I'm with Fishballer in that a baitcaster may be a better option but some can't use them for various reason from medical to just don't like them. I'd go 704 if I had to use spinning.
