I discovered the
mini-stick design last year and man has it caught fish and many fish species. Molds for the design are probably for sale somewhere, but I haven't seen any.
The main attribute of the mini-stick rigged on a ball head jig wacky style is it's action either retrieved horizontal to the bottom or allowed to sink. Similar to a Senko, the whole lure quivers and especially the tips. This one caught over a dozen fish schooled just off a flat in 4' to include bass, mostly crappie, sunfish and a 3lb sucker, from 4-5pm.

I twitched in place - it got blasted !; I retrieved it steadily with pauses - it go blasted !; I let it sit on bottom three seconds / lifted the rod - it got blasted. In all cases the lure had a unique action similar to a Senko but different because of the length and diameter as well as using a light jighead hooked in the middle.
Also not the color -
clear. What's not seen in the photo is the trace of glitter applied to the surface of the stick using glue for soft plastics on the surface and rolling the lure in craft glitter.
Whether it enhanced the lure in some way, I'll never know, but I do have confidence in adding colored flash to soft plastic lures.
This is an example of glitter added to the outside.
