First Snakehead Caught in Georgia - Gwinnett County

The Georgia Department of Natural Resourcesí Wildlife Resources Division recently confirmed the presence of the non-native northern snakehead fish (Channa argus) in Gwinnett County.  This is the first documented occurrence of snakeheads in the wild in Georgia.

I saw something else earlier today that is not good.  There are 4 lakes in Georgia that have Giant Salvinia in it.  This is some bad stuff....
