No Excuses

Hey fellas! I'd like to share a recipe with you soft plastic guys. I was just goofing around with some colors the other night. Wound up with a super cool looking color, that has performed better than I could imagine. I call it 810, because I caught an 8lb10oz bass the second trip out with it. Here's the scoop....

4oz plastic

20 drops of MF Silver Smoke Pearl

1/4 tsp MF Chartreuse .015 glitter

1/4 tsp MF Blue .015 glitter

1/4 tsp LC Orange .035 glitter

Even though there is zero green colorant in this recipe, it looks green. I guess it's the Chartreuse and Blue glitter reflecting or something. We have been doing really good on it on my hand poured jerk worms.

Hated to throw a pic of ol goggle eye in there but the colors were just beautiful!!

Ok, I stumbled onto a variant I think I am going to like on the above recipe.

4oz plastic
20 drops MF Green Smoke Pearl
1/8 tsp .015  MF royal blue
1/8 tsp .035   LC Orange
1/8 tsp .035 LC copper

looks almost like the original 810, but in High Def! Think It'll be 810HD!  ~roflmao

I took what was left in the cup and added 1/8 tsp of .015 MF Purple and got the other one. My wife said it reminded her of Mardi Gras...

original 810 on the right, HD on the left. Cool how a completely different recipe yields such a similar color.
