Bud, I have decided to get the Diawa Fuego 2500 spinning reel. 6.2 ratio.
Left hand, but I supposed it is reversible anyway.
Please have my name engraved on it and fill it with 12 pound PowerPro.

Don, this reel is a ratio 5.3:1 not a 6.2:1. Do you still want it? I do see some catalog pages reference this number but they are talking about bearing count of 6+1

Thanks. I look forward to it. I have a couple of spinning reels but seldom use them, but I plan to more this year, especially around docks. Thinking of getting a matching Fuego rod to go with it.

Hey Lip, that's why I didn't enter the Bass Classic contest since I still haven't used all the baits I won last time.
Next time I'll just donate and not enter. at age 76 I really don't need any more fishing gear, baits, etc., for the rest of my "career". I'm taking a few setups to my grandsons next time they let me out of the cage here.

I ordered a Fuego spinning rod that should work pretty well with it.
I haven't used Diawa gear in many years, but looking forward to giving it a try.

Somehow it always cost me money every time I win something here. So much for getting something free.
