Got out again this afternoon with John in his skiff for a few hours on a beautiful Oct afternoon. Clear skies, air temps upper 70's, water temp 77, neap tides so very little movement and it was well up into the marsh. We managed 7 keepers and a couple smaller bass in 4.5 hours of fishing, my 4 came on 2 different spinner baits and John caught his on a t-rigged worm mainly. 13 weeks without a boat and counting, hoping for delivery of my new Xpress X 18 next week. John is also waiting for his 198 P to return from the Ranger plant where it was sent for a hook in the hull so his skiff with 50 is all we got to fish from and weather is prime for getting out.
Retired and loving every minute of it!

Mike, talked to my dealer several times today and after he got in touch with Xpress he called to tell probably 2 more weeks which will make it almost 4 months. Waiting on Sea Dek now. Hope its worth the wait.
