I had a couple hours to kill so I headed out. So much for full pond. They pulled it down at least 2 feet, maybe more. I wasted an hour and cleaned the boat out.

I just can't figure it out. If there was another tropical system on the way I can see a need for the drastic drop. They dropped it so fast it actually stained the water.

Now we have 7 days near 80. So much for the fall bite.

Whine over! If anyone was planning a Hickory outing you might look at plan b.

I will let you know if it changes.

Thanks for the update on the lake. Reports like this can save someone from repeating the same struggle.

Same here on Norman, Water is back up to Mid 70 even North of 150 ~b~ Bite is wierd lo If lucky enough to run in to a school in the backs can work on them on swim baits. Small rigs and rattle baits but most very small.  Think all fishing will improve once water temp gets back to where it's should be in the Carolina this time of year.
