After seeing the muddy flood waters below Lookout damn Wednesday, I was really expecting the worse on Hickory today and it was every thing I expected plus some. It was actually worse than last week.

I scouted and found really big schools in the creeks, but they were suspended. Deep Crankbaits, mid Crankbaits and squarebill Crankbaits, nothing.

Dark spinnerbaits and thunder crickets, nothing.

I guess that's about it. Looks like at least another week of mud.

Be careful if you just have to go.

Tillery a mess as well.  Norman (Tuesday and Friday) not bad on the south end.  Northern end muddy.  Heading back to Florida tomorrow and away from mud:)

48 years fishing Catawba chain and nothing even close to what we are seeing now.

Wow, that's too bad.  I'll count my blessings that I had a couple decent days on Norman and caught 14 small spots.  Hope it clears up soon for you guys!
