Got my first Covid shot yesterday and had to get in some casting practice to ease the soreness from the shot. Just my good luck that I hardly ever had to set the hook on anything and risk making it sore again. Tide rising all day, water temps 49-52, air temps mid 60's and most sunny with light winds. Caught 1 decent fish, 2.27 lbs, on the only bite I got on a chatter bait and 5 shorts on plastic. Have not been able to put together a decent pattern to catch a fish recently. Threw traps, DT6, deep diving cranks, jerk bait, 2 different chatter baits with different trailers, lizard, worms and 2 different spinners without much success. Will keep at it but I expect to do better this time of year.
