Shimano Curado BFS - Just Announced

Shimano is finally bringing the USDM a decent BFS reel for an everyman's price. Supposed to be around $189. This little baby holds just 50 yards of 8lb line.

Bait Finesse System. Which seems odd for use with skipping lures that aren't usually finesse!

Shimano has been doing BFS reels for years, long before Lews was ever involved in BFS. The Aldebaran 30 MGL is probably still the best USDM BFS reel on the market.

I have had the curado bfs paired with Dobyns 740c all i can say is it is so much fun . I have had 4 lb promix 6 lb flouro and 8 braid. Biggest bass so far 2.5 but even the 1 pounders are a blast.
