PIB Erie PA. May 1 and 2

Well lets just say it was slow.

Water temps were in the upper 50's, the color was stained about 2 feet of vis.
Air temps from 50 on Saturday to 70+ on Sunday. Sky was clear both evenings.

I arrived at the ramp at noonish both days and saw all the bass boats leaving or gone by then. Not a good sign. But we were there and had to give it a try.
Saturday I had one short strike on a spinnerbait and the little woman caught a 19.75" 5.09 lb. beauty on a dropshot.
Sunday I missed a pike, and another short strike on a spinnebait, and the little woman landed a 3.5 lb beauty on a dropshot.
Yes I used a dropshot also and landed an 11" perch.
Most people reported decent fish but few and far between. Most I heard of was one boat had 5 total fish.

We did see a 40+ inch musky swim by with no interest in anything.
