Motor shaft length

I have acquired a 15 foot aluminum boat.  It has a tall transome, about 20 inches.  Do y'all think I would need a long shaft motor?  I am going to be rigging it up so I will probably have more questions too.

Nope, 20" shaft should be perfect.
