Fished the southern end of the lake today. Air temps were supposed to reach low 40s but don't think they did. Rained pretty much the whole day but my Frogg Toggs held up great! First time they've been tested like that.

Water temps were 50-54. Def cooler than what we saw yesterday up north and makes sense. Had a good bit more stain to the water as well. I caught a fish pretty quick but then went thru several lulls and I changed areas several times fishing places I'd never fished over the last 3 years. Ended up with 3 keepers and a couple non keepers but nothing bigger than 3lbs and I didn't take any to the scales. Ended up keeping them for dinner and when cleaning em 2 were female and 1 was a male. The chatterbait was bait of choice again today but I also caught 2 flipping a lizard which didn't happen yesterday. Also caught 1 cranking some riprap.

Well, at least you caught fish and didn't have to stop at the store on your way home.
