Fishing for Freedom Central Texas Belton Lake has ended

Greetings to everyone,

I received word last night that the Committee that sits on the Central Texas Fishing for Freedom Board as called it quits.  After 16 years of providing this Great Event to the Central Texas Area and the surrounding states of; Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri's Military Service Members has ended.

What I was told it had to do with Sponsorship issues.  To everyone that supported this event Thank You for taking the time to put this event on.
To all the Boaters that provided boats thank you for sharing your boat with a Service Member.  Hopefully some time down the road a group of individuals will come together and get this event back on the calendar.

They had some extremely good sponsors, sorry to hear they couldn't continue to step up and help. I understand sponsors need to feel they are getting something back, but in a case like this organization it's about the giving. Instead of badmouthing I'll just say thank you for all they did do to get those warriors on the water all those years
