LOZ Yesterday

I posted the pics in the Catch of the Day section but wanted to put the details here.

Water temps were around 55 on the main lake and 64 all the way at the back of the Gravois arm in the morning. Main lake coves had warmed to 63-65 by the end of the day.

As the day started, there were lots of small bass that could be easily caught using squarebills and spinnerbaits on transition banks and isolated wood in the back 1/3 of the creeks. As the day went on, the sun came out and the wind got up. That warmed the water quickly and I started seeing fish on beds. Very few of them were locked on yet and none of them that I caught had red fins or any other sign that they had been there long.
