Aluminum Ranger Trailer Recall

Received a recall notice yesterday from White River which started making the Ranger Trailers in 2000 for all Aluminum Boats. There Bearing Hub will fail. This notice is very urgent sounding and goes as far as telling everyone to remove the boat from the trailer before towing it in to the dealer. Also to stay under 50mph.

I realize the recall notice is very much intended to reduce liability on an issue that is likely to lead to compensation claims for liability. This recall is for every White River Trailer from 2000 to 2022.

That's going to be a whole lotta boats. If my dealers are closer than any place I can off load the boat to take the trailer to them... Hope yours gets fixed without incident

22 years worth of trailers?!?!?! I mean yeah eventually the hub would go bad anyways but didn't think it'd drive a recall like that!

Now to see some $&@^#^^÷&#;# "woops"s go wrap their boat around a tree and blame it on the "hub" for some $$$.

To have a recall like that it must have already cost them a bunch of money in litigation!

Similar recall for Nitro trailers 2020, 2021, 2022. Possibility the hubs were not tightened correctly.
