Here at UB we all love bass. But Bud's recent post about a redfish trip for me to thinking that there are probably other fish we would all like to try a hand at catching but for one reason or another we have never done.

For me, there are 4 species I would love to get a chance at.

For freshwater it would be reddish and peacock bass.

For saltwater (which I rarely do anyway) I would like a shot at some big rooster fish and some Goliath grouper - the many hundred pound variety!

What are some of the fish you've never fished for but would like to?

Go!

For me its: Snook, Tarpon, and Reds. One day I would also love to fish for the tough Smallies everyone seems to be talking about.
