Hopefully no one will get hammered with the storm surge on this one... I'm having flashbacks of Katrina... Population and sea level make a person get concerned for those in it's path...

We've got everyone in our thoughts and prayers. Being from North Louisiana, the Hurricanes never bothered me much but the spin off storms can get pretty nasty as well...

It's not a true S FL Hurricane Party unless one of your friends gets soo drunk, they pass out on your front porch or lawn, and sleep through the whole storm.

Yeah tornadoes ripped through the North Perry Airport which is just around the corner from where I live. Also on Douglas Rd and Sheridan St which is way to close to me for comfort. I was blessed with no damage. Power went out for just a few minutes. Power went out at the exact time my phone buzzed with a tornado warning.....spooked the chit out of me.

Prayers to those folks on the Florida west coast. They are in for a long ass day and days ahead.
