Anyone know how to truly make one of those TH Marine style storage hatches rain-proof? I attached a picture of the style I'm talking about.

I keep my boat under a carport, but with the storms we've had, I guess rain blew in and pooled on that hatch. Opened it up to get ready for my son's tournament and my wife's life jacket had inflated in the compartment. If nothing else, I may just buy a dry bag for the life jackets, but I'd like to keep that whole compartment dry if possible.

I've never seen one like that. Being flush like that, I'd guess it's going to be hard. What's it look like when opened? Unless there's a raised inner lip, it could be difficult. If there is a raised lip around the inside, you might be able to make some kind of drain with tubing to direct water down to the bilge, Kind of like they do on the sunroofs of cars.

Figured out why it was leaking. There's a crack near one of the hinges. Guess I need to replace it.

Glad you figured it out! Maybe the company will replace it since it cracked??

It wasn't cracked before, so I'm thinking my son must've done it. He's usually the culprit if something winds up broken  lo
I'll call War Eagle and ask them for a part number tomorrow.
