Fished an area I haven't touched in 9 months. Made it to the ramp at the usual time 0 dark thirty. Actually had to wait a little while because it was so dark.

I put on my head lamp and launched. Made a considerable run, stopped and took my time setting up.
It was very quiet. Too quiet. Nothing was happening, but I was seeing a lot of bird activity. 2 hours came and went I couldn't catch cold if I wanted to. I was throwing everything by this point.
Finally I was able to catch 2 tiny bass one right after another with a fluke. As the clouds cleared and the sun shined bright, I was seeing bass all over the freaking place!!

But there was one problem? They were avoiding all my lures and baits. :'( :'(
At one point I watched as about 10-12 bass ranging from one to two pounds surrounded my weightless stick worm and just stared at it. I was just picturing the conversations the bass were having. "Hey!" "Eat that!" "No way!!" "You eat it!" "Where's Mickey?" "He'll eat it!"
Seeing all these bass went on and on all morning long. I would occasionally catch one here and there, but could never develop a consistent pattern. By 11:30 I had, had enough. Hundreds of bass all around me, and nothing to show for it. Very frustrating. Ended up boating 10.
