Hey all I am about to dive into networking my boat to connect the additional two units I purchased over the winter. In doing so I will be going from 2units to 4 and thus need to get the ethernet switch from what I can tell. Is there any work around from the switch and amount of cables needed to accomplish this or am I stuck with having to get the switch, cables and dongles to accomplish the job? Thanks in advance!  ~gf

Only one way to do it... I've got 4 as well.

If you have APEX units, you don't need an Ethernet Switch, they have two Ethernet ports to daisy chain them. The rest of the models need the Ethernet Switch to have more than two devices networked.
