AHHHH.. the first two day, clear weather weekend is just a few days away!!

it has been crushing rain since Jan 1.  haha..

I dont remember a blue sky weekend this year.  I saw the weather and sharpened my hooks, tossed old plastics and rusted out hooks.  organized my boxes and restocked my travel bags from my storage bins.  charged my FF batteries and even bought a few new baits..only to hear my friend say, "can't wait to hunt turkey with you this weekend..the weather is gonna be great!"

I forgot it was the turkey opener.  grrrr...I am not hunting this year, but I promised to take my bud to some private land I have access to.  ahhaha..
maybe I should buy a hunting license after all and an upland bird stamp.
