Not my favorite choice but lost a good friend (46, wife, 2 kids 12 and 14) the other nite after 3yr battle with "The Crud" (cancer). Fished with him there several times and seemed like the right place to go, and it was except the fishing! As suspected, they sprayed, and it was terrible. See pics of dead vegetation. Did get 11 dinks on a rap and wackis. Wind lite outa NE. Water is down signifigantly from week or so ago but no flow today. There are a few huge Peas at the ramp, no takers though!
Cheers!
Jim

So sorry for your loss, I'm sure it brought back fond memories.  I lost a friend and coworker I fished with for over 20 years.  Our last trip together was the Holy Lands.  He caught a 6.5 lb bass at the end of the trip and his wife told me he was so proud of that catch on a tough day.  I think of him with the big smile whenever I go out there.  Thanks for your report.
