I worked at 6'2" and 245 lbs. After retirement and eight surgeries, 1 coma and an evil doctor, I was 5' 7" and 286 lbs. A real Porker with diabetic and kidney problems. I read about the food I was eating and the effect on my health. I decided to give up 2 foods and I would see what would happen. The first was Milk. Not ALL dairy products, just milk. The second was my beloved Bourbon whiskey. I have been drunk once in my life (Nam) and almost died in a B-40 attack. I am a sip and enjoy guy not a freaking idiot. I just sipped a lot. Anyway, my weight problem was because of milk.
If you can tolerate milk but drink too much, it can affect your weight and your health. Milk can cause weight gain, bloating, intestinal problems, diabetes and eye problems, kidney and heart problems. First, my pants size dropped as the bloat disappeared. Then my weight started to go. 3-4 lbs. a month until I had lost 25-30 lbs. After that, it was 1-2 lbs. a month. Now, I weigh 219 lbs.
At 5' 7", I still appear chunky but I have a large frame and don't want to lose more weight. Again, milk had a huge effect on my health.

good to hear.  now, all you gotta do is get one of those 'inversion tables' and hang upside down until you get to 7 feet...

lo lo lo I need one of those myself.

In 6 years I've gone from just a bit over 6 ft. tall to 5 ft. 9 in. I know some people shrink some as they get into a certain age range but I'm barely 63.

I joke, but I don't think it would actually work for me. Mine stems from a combination of disc and spinal issues including degenerative disc disease.

After watching several people I know go through several surgeries only to have the issue recur I'm not about to go that route so I guess I'll continue shrinking until I'm shorter than a dwarf   lo

(Yeah, I know that's politically incorrect but I don't play that game lo).
