Kinda cool setup. we have one here local out on the delta that they sling up your boat lift it and move it over to the other side. Not sure if they even use that one any more.

That was impressive...I don't think we have anything like that down here in Texas  ~shade

That's pretty cool. Haven't seen anything like that in Massachusetts. Thank you for sharing.

That really Cool!  :-*

There's a lift here close to me like that, at a community down the road, that allows boats to leave the community lake & canal system, and go into Lake Marion and return. I have no idea how much it's used however.

It's of course a much smaller scale than is shown in that video, but basically the same idea and big enough for most boats that folks use in this area.

When my wife & I were looking to move here, we looked at a house in that community, and the canal that had the lift was behind that house. That was one of the points of interest that the realtor mentioned.  lo

We didn't buy that house, for various reasons, but I thought it was a cool idea of the private lift to gain access to the main lake.

There's a couple of public boat ramps not far too, so even if there was ever any issue with the lift, it wouldn't prevent most boats from getting to the main lake.

Neat alternative to a lock and dam system. Never seen anything like that, thanks for the share.
