I had an older fishing net, and although it served its purpose. It was pita! Hooks would get tangled in it all the time. Especially treble hooks, ugh!

New nets are so expensive now a days, I decided to look around and found this clear  rubber mesh for twenty something dollars.

After removing the old mesh and carefully installing the new rubber mesh, I practically have a new net!

Woohoo! Score!!

I should add. Not all fishing nets are the same dimensions. Take careful measurements to avoid buying the wrong size mesh.

The rubber mesh illustrated fits large hoop sizes that measure 19"x 21." The bag depth is an 11" flat bottom.

Let us know what you think after dragging it through the water a few times. Looks like it will be great and take up less space since it is rubber.

I know it's going to be great! A good friend of mine has switched his net to rubber mesh, and the net glides through the water with ease! Plus, tangled hooks in the netting will be a thing of the past.
