I own a 1992 170 pro procraft bass boat and have really enjoyed it to the fullest.I love the big front deck for a 17' boat. Ive made many upgrades to it over the years .
Only had one major problem with the boat about a year ago, the transom failed on it.That really sucked but paid almost 2000$ to have it repaired, but am glad i did.
In the near future i would like to upgrade to a bigger boat when the finances get right
A big thumbs up for procraft!!!!

Jerry, tell us about your prop playing. I don't remember what you were running and switched to a Power Tech and got several MPH didn't you? Some of the boys with Pro Craft's might be able to use that info to help them out  :-*

yeah mike I run a 115 mercury right now i used to have a 22 pitch laser2 on it that had extra cup and balanced and blueprinted but i changed it out to a 24 pitch powertech ptr prop its just a hair faster then the laser but i havent had this prop worked yet so it should be a little better in the future. For out of the box stock its a pretty good prop.
Of course this is on a 170 pro procraft 92 model with 6 inch rapid jack with prop at 3 5/8" below the pad.The motor has boyeson reeds and i have made a few cowling modifications on it.
