They are all building bigger boats with higher HP ratings. I wonder if tournament orgs will up or eliminate the maximum. The guys are going to need bigger platforms for all the screens and batteries.

I talked to Ray Scott about this several years ago and he said the insurance industry throttles a lot of this. Per this conversation, it was the insurance companies that came up with and mandated the kill switch as well.

That's interesting to know...I've never heard of this before reference the insurance companies.  It sure was / is a great idea of having one.  Now if the drivers would only attached it their bodies 

Anyway I was at Texas Boat World a couple days ago picking up a part for my Stratos.  Man those new Skeeters, Rangers, Bass Cats and Caymas  Boats sure are pretty.  Those boats are HUGE I can fit my 18.5ft Stratos inside of them they're so big 

I really like the Cockpits and those HUGE FRONT DECKS
